BS Environmental Engineering

The Astani Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering covers engineering approaches required to provide safe drinking water, maintain air quality, control water pollution, and remediate sites contaminated due to spills or improper disposal of hazardous substances. Our students are broadly educated and technically trained through the ABET accredited program to address the spectrum of issues facing the environment.

Curriculum

Our program offers an interdisciplinary curriculum that provides its students with the tools to identify and design solutions for problems involving the environment. It integrates traditional engineering components like mathematics, physics, chemistry, and engineering design with other disciplines like biology, ecology, public health, economics, computer science and more. Our curriculum prepares students to become engineers that will protect the environment from damage and correct existing programs.
