Are you a newly admitted student? Congratulations and welcome to the University of Southern California Viterbi School of Engineering!
First and foremost, please complete the Intent to Enroll form. It is important for you to reserve your space in the entering class. Once you have completed the form, you will begin to receive information regarding orientation. Course registration advisement will be covered during orientation.
ALL undergraduate students have a mandatory advisement hold placed on their account every semester. If you have not been to mandatory advising, you may still have this hold on your account. Please select an appointment in myUSC or reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org if there are no available appointments.
During mandatory advisement, an updated course plan will be discussed and help prepare you for registration.
Remember: A minimum of 12 units is required for full time enrollment. A course load beyond 18 units is considered an overload. Please speak with the student services team during advisement prior to registering for more than 18 units. Contact Financial Aid to learn more about the additional costs associated with overloading.
