Admission Requirements
- A bachelor degree from an accredited American college or university, or from a foreign institution of acceptable standing
- A minimum grade point average of 3.0
- GRE scores
- Applicants to all Master programs (minimum quantitative score of 650)
- Applicants to Master of Construction Management may also substitute GMAT scores for GRE scores (minimum GMAT score of 650)
- A minimum of two (2) letters of recommendation is required for Master programs
- A statement of purpose
- Additional requirements vary by degree program.
Master of Science Program Requirements
- MS in Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering
- 27 units of course work
- MS with 30 or 33 units may require four semesters
- The last four units must be completed at USC
- Four units transferred from another engineering school can be approved for credit by the Department
- Two thirds of the units must be taken at the 500-level or above
